Enable 'Spydus Learn' link in Spydus by default 

Access to the Spydus Learn online learning platform is now enabled by default in the module menu. Spydus Learn contains written and video content on Spydus features, with training modules to complete on new features.

Display popup alert when user reset password request submitted

In previous versions, the staff reset password feature worked differently for staff users with email addresses, and for staff users who did not have their email addresses set. Now when a staff user resets their password from the login page, Spydus will display a pop up an alert message advising that a password reset email has been sent, and to contact an administrator if the email is not received.

The alert will be displayed whether the email address for the staff user is set or not.

To reset a password:

1. Navigate to the Spydus login page and click the Reset Password button.
2. Enter the staff username and click Submit.
3. Once the alert is displayed, follow the password reset link in the email.

 

The password reset link will only be sent if an email address is set for the given user. If it is not set, the user should contact an administrator.
